Day 2: Praha, the city of tourists

Prague might be described as a heaven for the fans of nice architecture, but to us it seems like a giant concrete oven full of people.
There are tourists everywhere. Old and young, Americans and Asians, everyone was walking around with a camera in one hand and an icecream, granita or an umbrella in the other.

We visited the centre and Karl's bridge today and spent the rest of the midday chilling out on a tiny patch of grass in a little park. We're sitting in Starbucks at the moment and are deciding if we should leave the cold rooms of the bar or not.

Urša is off to Liberec tomorrow for European Open Championship with Lu, Sabrina and I are staying in Prague for three more days.

Before we came to Prague our friend Katja told us that if we really want to see the town we have to come here at 5 am when there are no tourists around. She was so right.

  1. Ladies!!!

Firstly I wish you a great trip!!! As for Petra and Sabrina...go visit the "suburbs" of Prague. I can't recall the names, but I think one of them is called Novo mesto =) there are almost no tourists, the architecture is nice and everything is soooooo cheap (avoid starbucks and grab a delicious, cold beer for ridiculously low price =))

    Enjoy!!!

    I'll be reading you =)
