UPSontheroad: Day 17: Helsinki

After a pretty much sleepless night (we somehow managed to "install" ourselves on one of the busiest petrol stations in whole Tallinn) we took a ferry to Helsinki in the morning and spent the rest of the day exploring the town. We took a boat to a nearby island with the Suomelinna fortress, where Lu provided entertainment for the tourists on the island when she was chasing and swimming after the geese.

And just a tip how to get a free meal in overpriced Helsinki.
Following our real-case scenario:

Location: Helsinki city centre

Sabrina & 5ra: Lej k hrano stran mečejo! (gospa je ob zapirajoči tržnici ostanke azijske vok hrane metala stran)
Urša (already running towards the stall): Dej pejmo vprašat če nam jo lahk da...
Hi, are you throwing this away?
The lady: Yes, we are closing down.
Urša: Could we maybe get some of it?
The boss looks at us
Urša: Please, we don't have any money left.
The boss: Why don't you have any money?
Urša: Because we just bought the sandwiches! (points at Petra, who was slowly eating her giant sandwich)
The boss: Okay, but you will have to pay for the box.
Urša: No, no it's OK, we have a plastic bag!

And so we got a free lunch and saved 24 EUR, because a portion for one person costed 8 EUR.

We are staying with two couchsurfers Olli-Pekka and Raisa today and are leaving towards firstly western and then northern Finland tomorrow. We probably won't have access to the net for the next couple of days, but no worries, we're probably not dead. Just lost somewhere in the Finnish wilderness :)
